Sometimes less is more and this is reflected in minimalist photography which is a genre that appears to be a bit of a mystery to many. The use of isolated aspects, strong negative and an engaging but simple narrative are the aspects I feel that make up a strong minimalist photograph. This is an area of photography I personal find very rewarding and won the N Photo magazine minimalist competition in the past.

so go and try you hand at minimalist photography remembering that less is sometimes more and the power of negative space.
