During a recent talk at a camera club I was asked by several people.
"how do you select the photography you want to develop when you have a series of images"
I have found that I use 3 different techniques when confronted with a series of images and I need to find the "BEST" one
So here's some help in Selecting Photographs
Fast Viewing Go through the images as fast as you can in full screen mode and one or two images will stand out over the others and you wont be sure why but they do
View the images upside down This can sometimes help as you are less able to get drawn in to the narrative and tend to focus more on the tonal ranges or colours.
Ask a non photographer Somebody who is not a photographer is not governed by rules but but gut feeling and so makes a more intuitive selection.
