How to remove the Meta Data (Exif Data) from an image

You may want to remove all of your personal details from an image and any other data associated with the image - well this tells you how to do just that.

All the information is captured in the image MetaData or Exif data as it is sometimes called and this is how you remove that data from the image.

  1. Go to the folder where your image is located.

  2. Copy the image and rename it

  3. Right-click the copied image

  4. Click Properties.

  5. Click the Details tab.

  6. Click Remove Properties and Personal Information.

  7. Then you can click Create a copy with all possible properties removed for a copy of the photo with EXIF data stripped.
