This post My Rolleiflex Journey (part 3) is a very short post but one that folk may find interesting. The problem was what do I do with the lens hood?
keep it on the camera all the time
Buy a case for it
Keep it in my pocket
Is their a better solution?
As stated in the previous post my wife's leather crafting skills came in when she was able to repair the case and make a new strap for the camera. When i mentioned the lens hood to her she crafted this neat fix.
A leather strap that attaches to and remains attached to the main strap but has a quick release clasp. This means the lens hood can be kept constantly attached to the camera case but when needed it can easily be accessed and the strap remains connected to the case.
This feels like a neat solution but time will tell how good it works in practice?
