Interested in finding out more about this talk - well here's an overview to outline the aims and the content it offers.
Feedback on this talk has been amazing from clubs across the UK, as it delivers something for photographers of all levels. It is different in that it looks at motivation and challenges, learning more , keeping you photography fresh and having fun along the way.
This post covers - From There To Here - a photographers journey, Camera Club Talk Overview which will give those of you looking to book this talk an insight as to what to expect. I have found that this talk works exceptionally well face to face and via zoom (or other remote platforms).
The talk was put together after I received many requests for a talk that would act as encouragement to new members of the group and also re inspire the established members in the group - to grow as photographers.
The talk is based around a realisation, early in my photographic journey, that I needed goals to provide me with challenges and and also outlets for my photography. Like any development cycle it is a personal and iterative process, as goals were achieved new ones were added each time providing a challenging but achievable new horizon. these are the things I have set for myself over the years and how I achieved them - what are you going to do?
Duration can be from 90min to 2 hours all depending on the group size and the length of your meetings.
So whats the key Aim:This was put together with the aim of helping people who are stuck in rut

The evening is broken down into the following sections:
Introduction
Setting the aims
Goals set in relation to camera clubs
Goals set in relation to generating revenue
Goals set in relation to growing as a photographer
Goals set to increase exposure
Goals set to share the knowledge you have
Processing tips & Tricks
Each section is evaluated using my experiences and images as a platform for discussion. The aim is not get attendees to do it the way I did, but for them to take their own ambitions to the next level, in their own style. You need to keep your photography
