Lee Miller Exhibition Review

Lee Miller is one of Britain's most celebrate photographers with her career spanning such and amazing range. From vogue model to vogue photographer , from apprentice photographer to celebrated war photographer and correspondent. Her life makes an amazing story in itself and this was reflected in the 2025 film Lee where Kate Winslet portrayed Miller in the film LEE.

Lee Miller Exhibition Review: The exhibition is very popular and does get very busy which does reflect the interest in her work. There are a vast number of images from Lee herself covering the full expanse of her photography career as well as images of her from her vogue model days as well as images by Mann Ray from her time training with him. Her post wars years and her life at Farleys House ( also well worth a visit) are also represented with images of her partner Sir Roland Penrose the surrealist artist and their frequent guest Picasso.

Some of the images are quite small but they are all well presented and the information is concise and engaging. In summary this is a must for any photography lovers and I was fortunate enough to share the visit with members of the online photography community camversation.
